This position is responsible for assisting customers with answering inbound calls, placing ticket orders, providing information regarding the attraction's hours of operation and historical facts. This person should have excellent customer service skills, leadership abilities and the ability to multitask while working in a fast paced environment.   
Essential Functions Statement(s)

  •          Answering phones from customers professionally and responding to customer inquiries
  •          Must be available to work a varied schedule, days, evenings, weekends, holidays 
  •          Researching required information using accessible resources.
  •          Provide customers with the organization's service and product information.
  •          Identifying, escalating priority issues and reporting to the Leads or Reservations Manager.
  •          Route inbound calls to the appropriate resource.
  •          Fulfills customer requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; and forwarding requests.
  •          Sells promotional items or rates by recognizing opportunities to up sell.
  •          Maintains  database by enter accurate information in a timely manner.
  •          Following up complicated customer calls where required.
  •          Completing call logs and call reports as necessary and updating them in the database.
  •          Work at the museum as needed in various positions.  Standing for long periods of time is a requirement.
  •          Ability to act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of a work assignment or to defend a position or idea.
  •          Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea.
  •          Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
  •          Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
  •          Ability to bring energy to the performance of a task.
  •          Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:  Six (6) to One (1) year  related experience  - call center or venue
